Sunday Link Roundup
Happy day of the Sun everyone. I’m trying out a new format for some posts, in addition to the more long-ish form essays. I’m going to be curating 6 links every Sunday for your browsing pleasure. Please feel free to make suggestions for next week’s post, if you have any!
1. Thought Forms: A Record Of Clairvoyant Investigation and the Hidden History Of Modern Art
Originally published in 1905, this occult book by Theosophical society members Anne Besant and C. W. Leadbeater documents various clairvoyant thoughtforms, auras, and energy as colorful illustrations. This hidden gem was an influence on modern artists of the period including Hilma Klint and Wassily Kandinsky.

2. Apparently God can’t hear you through your mask, claims fraudster Jim Bakker
Jim Bakker of sham spiritual infamy now claims that God can’t hear you if you are wearing a mask. I wonder if he can hear you when are wearing a ceremonial robe?
3. Watch this video of the Moon occulting Saturn.
This video has some major vibes going on.
4. An Introduction to the Greek Magical Papyri
If you aren’t familiar with this Hellenistic era collection of Greek, Egyptian and Jewish magical spells, this is a great scholarly overview.
5. In The Continuum: A Collection of Thelemic Writings
In The Continuum was a Thelemic periodical that ran from 1976 through 1996. Over 50 issues have been made available for free to download. These are a great resource for anyone exploring the Thelemic, Hermetic, or Golden Dawn paradigms.
6. The Sun Enters the Sign of Virgo Today
Today marks the ingress of the Sun into the sign Virgo. For those born during this time, happy birthday! According to first-century astrologer Manillius:
The temperaments of those whose span of life she pronounces at their birth Erigone will direct to study, and she will train their minds in the learned arts. She will give not so much abundance of wealth as the impulse to investigate the causes and effects of things. On them she will confer a tongue which charms, the mastery of words, and that mental vision which can discern all things, however concealed they be by the mysterious workings of nature.
